Just Pies started small in the year 2000, with a modest factory of only 200 square metres. Now, following a R2 million investment in the expansion of our factory and the upgrading of equipment, we occupy almost four times that amount of space in North Park in North Street, Pietermaritzburg.
Our factory never sleeps – it operates 24 hours a day around the clock with a large staff complement capable of producing the thousands of pies needed to meet the daily demand for our products.
Everything, from the making of the pastry (which, importantly, is trans fatty acid free) to the mixing of the spices is done in-house. No meat substitutes are used.
